One of the dangers of being a comic book fan is the risk of accumulating a large collection of action figures.
I have a collection of over 1,000 action figures.
A few years ago I managed to pretty much cut back on buying more.
(Unsurprisingly, I was starting to run out of space.)
But then I discovered the SH Figuarts line of action figures.
The detail and articulation on these things is amazing.
When I saw one listed in Previews one month, I went ahead on ordered it along with my comics for that month.
"I'll just get the one," I thought.
Then it was "I'll get only the Red Rangers."
That didn't last long.
My current "line in the sand" is to just get the heroic characters and to not get any of the power-up versions.
(Note I said that was my *current* plan. Clearly plans change over time.)
Here are scans of the front and back of the boxes of the ones I've accumulated so far listed by the Super Sentai season in which the characters originated.
Some of these are the Japanese Super Sentai versions of the character/figure and some are the American Power Rangers versions.
I've named them according to which version I have.
And, yes, the scans do a horrible job showing off the action figures themselves.
I've got some ideas on how to fix that later.
For now, I just wanted to have an inventory of the figures I either have either in my posession or have on order.
If you know of any that are available that I don't have, please send me a private message me on the Comic Book Page forum.
As the ones I have on pre-order arrive, I'll try to remember to update this page.
And, as should be obvious, I ended up getting a lot more than just the Red Rangers.
This collection has grown to include a bunch of other action figures from SH Figuarts and Figma.
