Wednesdays Comics

Post by Skyhawke »

Anyone interested in the next weekly comic that DC is going to publish?

Naturally the Hawkman story by Kyle Baker has me interested. But I also saw today some previews of the other stories they are doing in the series.

Joe Quinone and Kurt Busiek Green Lantern story, Sean Galloway Teen Titans and here is some rough pencils and colors by Ben Caldwell for Wonder Woman.

Now the 14” x 20” format I am not to wild about. Now I have something else besides Mouse Guard that I need to figure out to store.

There seems to be a good set of creators associated with it.

I'm curious, did they mention how much it's going to cost?

It's only set to run for 12 issues, right?

Man, that looks nice and it's a cool idea, but I'll probably have to pass (budget concerns). I was kind of hoping that Baker was doing a brand new Hawkman ongoing. I've been hungry for a Hawkman book. Maybe he'll be a part of Adventure Comics, whenever that starts? I'm not that familiar with it, but I thought he had a history with that series.

i'm really looking forward for this 12 issues.
i'm a big mark chiarello fan (DC art editor and editor for this book as well as the solo series and batman black and white)
wish more of this happened at the companies that can afford such massive talents.
