Interesting article. Personally it makes me glad I always buy my books on the comixology website rather than the app. Gives the creators and the company that puts out the book a bigger slice of the pie.

Comparing the 2 articles there's more $ available to the creators of digital, especially if you cut Apple/Google out of the mix. So I'm not sure how it justifies "holding the line at $2.99" for digital.

Maybe they should just make stuff cheaper if bought direct via Comixology. Pass along some of the $ that was going to the mobile provider to the consumer.

(I suspect this kind of thing would be frowned on by Apple....)

I imagine that is the type of thing that gets you dropped if they notice it.
