Keep in mind that there are a lot of creators out there and they often do many different projects over the course of the year. When putting down a creator's name, please indicate what project(s) they did in 2012 that made you put them down as one of your favorites.

Web-comic- The World's Strongest Mailman http://www.strongestmailman.com/ Jon Westhoff, Bryan Boles, Ben Tiede and other artists
Favorite creator-owned project by a solo creator - Alan White on the Power Principle from Valhalla Comics Group (available through DCBS).

Favorite Overall Publisher - IDW - still with the Artist Editions, Portfolios and other nice art type books, smart licensed titles (My Little Pony, Transformers, Dr. Who, G.I. Joe, Popeye, Godzilla - I don't read them all but they are usually quality). Plus original ones like the John Byrne titles, Night of 1,000 Wolves, Smoke & Mirrors, TMNT etc. I think they have a nice diversity but still maintaining the quality.

If we are going with real independent publishers than I pick King Bone Press as I have every book they have ever published. http://kingbonepress.storenvy.com/
If you like anthologies, the Bandthology and the Low Concept (1 and 2) are great. You can also get The World's Strongest Mailman in print there (same as online).

It might just be the work software but the Penny Arcade link above made my computer give me a warning about some sort of attack. I don't know what sort of virus filter is on this machine but did want to warn people.

Link worked fine for me....no warnings & nothing detected by my virus software or firewalls from work...

Whoa, that's not good. Yeah, I also checked (thanks, Bob) and all is fine. Sorry for the scare however.
