This snuck up on me but Young Justice has a new episode tomorrow (sat).
FYI for anyone else who is watching the show but may have missed its' impending return.

Good to know. Thanks. It is a great show. The comic based on it is pretty good too.

Looks like the return of Young Justice has hit some bumps in the road. It didn't air on Cartoon Network this weekend but did go up on iTunes. Apparently the producers of the show found out about this at NYCC from fans and not from Cartoon Network. Based on what I've heard, the DC Nation block is on hiatus until January.

Ahh. that explains why I got How to Train Your Dragon on my DVR instead of Green Lantern and Young Justice.

I have about 15 eps of this on my DVR, and have seen the first 10 or 15. How do the most recent 15 compare to the first batch of eps?

The show gets a lot better as it goes along. A lot of things that did not seem like much in the first few episodes pay off as they move toward the end of the season.

happy to hear. I think I left off with around 5 eps left in season 1, and haven't seen any of the 9 eps aired in season 2. But sounds like was a good move to keep them on my DVR - will see them..eventually! :^)

I can't recommend Young Justice strongly enough. In terms of all the half-hour all-ages cartoon shows I watch (Green Lantern, also ThunderCats and TMNT relaunches, all very good stuff), it's easily the best although it definitely was a slow-burn for the first ten or so episodes. Top-notch voice acting, characterization, genuinely surprising twists and narrative techniques. Exciting, well-directed action sequences, as well!

However, I find the abrupt and lengthy breaks between episodes unfortunate (the January delay is the third time it's happened), since I'm sure viewer retention is being affected negatively each time. I hope that in the future the show will be able to air an entire season of episodes without too many delays.

see? the benefits of a DVR: I have 16 eps in a row to watch! Actually, they bult up b/c my younger son who watches it kept getting punished and losing his TV rights. So now he has incentive to walk the straight and narrow so he can watch the show! lol
