I didn't see an existing thread, so...

I'm always behind because I like to wait until I have read the issues that you've talked about... actually in this case, I've only read the Last Defenders book yet, but I'm curious to hear what you have to say on that book.

So I usually listen in the car during commutes, but I have an opportunity now to do some listening at work, and the audio on this one has prompted me to leave this email...

It seems like Bob is much louder than Jon. It also seems like the intro is way lower in volume than the episode. I've noticed this in other episodes in the car as well. Any chance you could work on leveling everything consistently? I just want to hear every one clearly. Please and thank you! :)

(On to the rest of the episode...)

I remember Yandroth! And his Omegatron!

I really appreciated the throwback for the old school Defenders fans like me. It made the book more bearable in that it at least had SOME connection to the previous series other than Nighthawk and the son of JC Pennysworth.

I wasn't in love with the issue either... but I'm really hopeful for the series because I love the Defenders of old. I'm hoping that Son of Satan is a step in the right direction. But the inclusion of Yandroth was a highlight of the issue for me.

I've had similar problems listening to other podcasts so I know how annoying that sort of audio level problem can be.

I've had a few issues with the audio levels on my system which has resulted in major level differences between me and Bob on a few episodes. I'm pretty sure Weekly Comics Spotlight #031 was right in the middle of that period. Also, that was around the time work was completely insane (about 6 weeks straight of 14 hour days) so it is possible that I just skipped the leveling step on that episode.

In any case, I few weeks ago I've changed how I level the episodes and it should be better in the more recent episodes.
