Just finished #4 or 4, I really enjoyed this series. I can see the very end of #4 not being as satisfying as it could be for some people, but I think it fits in with the rest of the series being grounded in reality.
I would love to see this become an ongoing, but I can see how it may be tricky to keep it interesting for a long time, but I'm sure Troy knows what he's doing.

I agree with Abysslord.
I don't know how this book would work as an ongoing series. Certain plot points within the arc would have possibilities, but as an independent book, it worked well in this 4 issue mini series.
It ended well. Not sure how Hickman could have finished this series otherwise, so his choices were smart, in my opinion.
If he did start a new series, I would be on board with that one as well, so that must be saying something.

I thought the same thing after the Pilot Season one-shot, but darned if Hickman didn't create an entertaining mini-series.
I don't think the market would bear an ongoing, but I think he could easily squeeze out another mini or 2 with the characters.

After thinking about it, there are a lot of possibilities for future stories. You got: father mystery, mother mystery, boyfriend's disappearance mystery, ... not to mention anything you'd want to do with the other 'superheroes' she met in #2, and any other new crimes going on in the area she could investigate.
Bob may be right in that there may not be enough people to support an ongoing, which is a shame since this book would appeal to many people who probably don't even know it exists, but definitely more mini-series would be wonderful.

From the back matter that I've read from Hickman, he likes the character and has a very sentimental attachment with it, so I am optimistic that we'll see more of the "Twilight Guardian" in the future.
From a marketing standpoint, it makes sense that he maintains a mini-series arc in the future. I haven't read too much buzz about this title but from the people who have discussed it, the talk has been positive.
So here is to a future series!
