To both John & Sam, since the pod was released this morning Kirkman has announced that Invincible is ending with #144.

And Sam is correct about the Amazon.com prices. This is a post I made at the end of May:

I looked up the discounts for DC trades and the 2014 ASM trades and these are the current discounts:

Grayson Vol 1 & 2 are 37.5% and 21.9% cheaper.

Gotham Academy Vol 1 & 2 are 25.3% and 28.4% cheaper.

Batman Vol 1-8 are an average of 34% cheaper.

ASM 14 Vol 2-4 are an average of 38.8% cheaper.

I thought about all that Invincible talk when I read this story today and how odd the timing worked out with the episode being posted today.

DC Reports 12 Million REBIRTH Issues 'Shipped' This Summer

• 11 issues top 200k units
• 60 plus issues top 100k units
• 21 titles back in print multiple times

Rebirth titles are enjoying a 29 percent higher lift than the company’s previous relaunch in 2011, DC COMICS – THE NEW 52, with the top 10 titles being a combination of core classics, new titles and some surprises—including the top-selling book HARLEY QUINN #1, with more than 400,000 copies shipped.

that's a big number returnable or not - seems like a successful line-wide reboot to me so far but I guess we'll know more after the honeymoon period of first trade story arcs complete so late 2016/early 2017?

Oh, I pray they don't feel the need to do that. I would like to see them maintain a larger share of the sales for the foreseeable future. If they can just differentiate themselves from Marvel's model long enough. I hope it succeeds.

Questions for TJ next episode regarding you/your comics routine, answer as many or little as you like:

do you get your DCBS shipment monthly? do you devour all your trades right away or stretch em out throughout the month?

when you say you are limited by budget is it dollars or time? what would you add if you had more of whichever?

are there books you passed on that you regret or have you pretty much read everything you wanted?

what are some under the radar title/trades that not a lot of folks are reading but should be?

being trade reader exclusively dont you miss letter columns?

Amazing Spidey 16 at rank 4 with 185k units is great for Marvel... until you look and see #17 falling back to rank 32 with under 75k units. I wonder how many variants #16 had along with other shenanigans that Marvel did to get #16 that high in ranking.

In regards to Marvel Now 2: Now Harder, these books I can see being relaunched even though they were listed as continuing:
