The Previews Spotlight #007: 2008-05 episode goes up Wednesday morning and the Previews Spotlight Interviews #007: 2008-05 episode goes up Friday morning.
Interesting, so you decided to split them in two? Looking forward to it...

The Previews Spotlight episode itself came out to about an hour and fifty minutes and the interviews episode was another hour and eight minutes or so. Splitting it into two episodes seemed to make the most sense.

Looking forward to both. This is a month I didn't make an order with DCBS and so went without Previews. Let me tell you, that was torture. Which is strange because there was a time where I thought Previews was a chore, and questioned the purchase of it at all. Times they do a change.

For shame people! You have to call DIBS; otherwise we get doubles.

SWEET!

I got John and Bob to try something they had initially passed on! WOOT WOOT!

Pressure's on now, hope you enjoy it. I'm curious and am also not going to pre-order the 2nd and 3rd issues. If I like #1, I'll have Cameron add 2 and 3 to my pull list.

Bob...YOU ARE AN ANIMAL!

$1,100 AFTER DISCOUNT!?!?!

Wow...you should consider becoming a silent partner to Cameron; probably better for you over the long haul. :)

Yeah, I had kind of a "SWEET JESUS!" moment there when I finished adding the list up. Quite a lot of it fell to just a few items like:

Bat-Cuffs from DC Direct
Classic Luke Cage statue from Bowen
Little Nemo: Many More Splendid Sundays

These 3 were around $300.....

I think part of it was there was a ton of interesting comics in this Previews. I tend not to get the big ticket items that Bob gets but even so, my total ended up being $611.78 when it was all said and done. (I ended up adding a number of things like the Black Canary action figure and the Invaders Classic trades which bumped up my total.)

Still, that is a fraction of Bob's total. Whch is why I try to avoid the big ticket items. Those add up quick.

No doubt...my total is just over $450 after discount; pretty big month for me, too. Oh, and thanks for the shout out at the end vis-a-vis "Jason Wood buys a lot of comics, too." :)

Mine is just over $700. That includes a lot of DC Direct. I was also looking at the Classic Luke Cage statue but was able to hold off. It was very tough though.

I have the Iron Fist statue so I could not hold off on Power Man.

I may have had a slight chance of resisting if I didn't have the other half of that classic duo.

Great episode guys. I loved the participation in this episode. This was by far my favorite previews episode. I hope this participation continues :)

It will continue as long as folks continue to send in mp3 files! We love all the different viewpoints!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully we'll continue to get a ton of submissions going forward.

Personally, I really enjoy the submissions since it helps me in putting together my monthly order.

Sorry for being part of the crew who got them in on the last day. I just works out that way for me. During the week, I'm swamped with real life and I psychologically can't bring myself to do the recordings until I'm holding Previews in my hand. Saturday I had the time so I banged a bunch out.

If I get Previews early enough in the week, I'll try to get them in faster next time out!
