I had the exact same feelings on both of these.HassanT wrote:I read Batman: Odyssey #2 this weekend. Wow, the writing is worst than the first issue. No matter how much I love Neal Adam's art, I can't keep getting this, especially since it is a 12 issue mini-series. BTW, originally in previews it was solicited as a 6 issue mini.
I am also stopped pre-ordering the Hulk books after August. I want to see how good the Hulk series is with the new creative team and I am not sure I want to get a bi-weekly Incredible Hulk series. I like the Hulk but not enough to get three Hulk books a month.
Cutting back on comics.....

Odyssey is abysmal. I think it may edge out All Star Batman & Robin in terms of poor quality. At least there is some indication that Miller has his tongue planted deep within his cheek. Adams is so self-important that I don't think he's going for camp.BobBretall wrote:I had the exact same feelings on both of these.HassanT wrote:I read Batman: Odyssey #2 this weekend. Can you believe all the Batman quotes with ellipses? Oof.

Odyssey is an example of a book where no matter how much I like the art, I just can't buy the thing......mikemclarty wrote: Odyssey is abysmal. I'm really astonished at the lax editorial reins on this book.
I wonder how sales are going to slide on this book......
