heard this one gets a little wacky(er) reading it tonight
greenvalley #4 is still in the to-read-pile, but its been going wackier and wackier for every issue and the last cliffhanger kinda implied that we didnt know the whole story about where they are in time and fantasy landscape.

Will Spider-Drew #1 contain an origin story?
Read Green Valley #4 over the weekend and it was completely bananas. I will be finishing the miniseries but it is bordering on going off the rails for me.

Drew the mild-mannered marketing middle manager was working hard at his standing desk when he accidentally ingested a complex combination of cold coffee, white board cleaner and copier toner during a freak lightning storm - now he fights crime {kinda} but mostly just travels from diner to deli looking for the perfect pastrami on rye...

Lol, wow that escalated quickly :-)
and here i thought spiderdrew was a cleverer name for spiderwoman... jokes on me

can we hope for a future teamup between SpiderMayo and SpiderDrew for that sandwich hunt

On a more serious note the actual Jessica Drew title SpiderWoman is really good!

The week of January 18th 2017

This week I bought a bunch of comics as usual but I thought I would just hit a few of the highlights.

1. Black Hammer Annual I'm looking forward to reading. This has been a good series so far.
2. Read U.S. Avengers #2 and I'm checking out on this book for now.
3. Amazing Spider-Man #23 was good. Clone Conspiracy is fun.
4. Hookjaw #2 from Titan. The first issue was worthwhile.
5. Monsters Unleashed from Marvel.
6. Revolutionaries #1 from Idw. Was looking forward to this, but it was disappointing to me. Not going on the pull list at this time.
7. Cave Carson Has A Cybernetic Eye #4. Only Young Animal title I'm still reading. This has the potential to be a really good book. I hope it lives up to that potential.
8. Star Trek Waypoint #3 should be good.
9. Motor Girl #3. My LCS was shorted this title so I can't pick this up until next week.

Also this week I caught up on Batman, Hal Jordan and the Green Lanterns, Flash, Green Arrow, New Superman, Old Man Logan, Uncanny X-Men, and Aliens Defiance.
Making progress.

Read God Country #1 today. Wow what a debut issue! Emailing DCBS to add #2 for next month!
Moonshine #4 continues to be a great read. There seems to be a diminishing audience for this title. I'm loving it.
Motor Crush #2 I liked this one just as good as the first. Not much buzz for this title either. The premise is somewhat thin but it has very good characterization and great action.
Cannibal #4 still really liking this title I think people are burned out on post apocalyptic/zombie tales so sales are way down on individual issues hoping trade sales pick it up. They are taking a break until May. I still have a pile of other stuff I'm plowing through the double shipping has put me so far behind on DC stuff

Drew, I found another Image gem last week that I absolutely loved.

Peter Panzerfaust vol 1. That volume was all kinds of awesome. I should read vol 2 this week.

wow short week for me, but I think next week is big:

Doom Patrol #4--don't remember what is going on, it has been almost 2 months?
Detective Comics #949--New arc with Batwoman
Darkwing Dark #7--the art reminds me of my childhood & stories are entertainingly funny
Enchanted Tiki Room #4--for the Wife & kid, but solid
