Considering how many books have been announced that have ties to the Flashpoint minis, I'd really be surprised if a Captain Marvel/Thunder book isn't announced with the Superman books tomorrow.
My guess for the last book to be announced is a Lois Lane ongoing written by Gail Simone. She stated on Twitter this week that she has one more project that hasn't been announced. Her love for Lois and the Marvel family are well-documented, so I wouldn't be surprised to see her attached to either title.

I wonder how many people said that about the Charlton characters after Crisies on Infinite Earths.spid wrote:I did, and I am not that interested in an integrated Wildstorm/DC Universe. I will still buy the title. It does make me wonder how long this thing will stick. This sort of have all the makings of a six month to a year thing.BobBretall wrote:BTW, did anyone notice the Martian Manhunter on that Stormwatch cover??
So far I am up to the three Wildstorm books, and two possible DC relaunch books.
The Wildstorm books have burned out on own, but the characters can be revitalized via the DCU.
I can't wait for Grifter, Voodoo and Stormwatch

No Shazam mentioned yet.
No Power Girl mentioned yet.
I get the impression DC might be trying to shed their "problematic" characters...the age old question of why having PG or Mary Marvel when you have Supergirl. Why have Cap when you have Superman.
I really hope that's not the answer...

As of right now, I think I have lost almost every DC book I currently read and am on the fence about 1 of the remaining ones. The interesting part about that is I was a new reader to the DC universe at the beginning of Brightest Day. This makes me wonder how good a move this whole thing is on their part. I mean I could easily see people in my position saying, "ok, this is a good place to jump off."jonah wrote:All told I lost 14 titles off my existing pull list from DC with only two new titles providing any kind of continuity from those 14 lost titles.
Luckily I'm stubborn enough to see what is going to happen to my favorite titles.

Agreed on Ostrander and Simone. Especially Gail...I was hoping she'd still be writing a group book in the relaunch.TNPredsFan wrote:I'm very disappointed neither John Ostrander nor Gail Simone are writing Suicide Squad. Either one of those on the book, and it would have been an automatic buy for me.
And, good Lord, I do not like the Harley or Deadshot redesigns.
And yeah, Harley's redesign is the first that I'm really disappointed in. It's just not recognizable enough. Even with the hair, it would take me a while to guess that it's her. Deadshot I need a better look at. I always thought his old costume was outdated looking.
And besides Suicide Squad, there's also a new Blue Beetle book:

Looking forward to a new Blue Beetle series. I've always loved the costume/armor and Jamie is good character. I like Tony Bedard's writing, but I do wonder, and many others have pointed this out before me, if this kind of relaunch needs more new faces among the creators?
So that must leave 4 spots for the Superman titles.

Newsarama has a must read candid interview with Gail Simons about Barbara Gordon, Oracle and the new Batgirl title.
