I had dumped the Punisher books myself, but I'll get back on for Aaron/Dillon.....

Funny how people's opinions can vary widely. I do not really have a problem with Haut's art.

I absolutely agree. Another artist I really do not care for is Lenil Francis Yu, and there are lots of people who absolutely love his stuff.

A lot of people revile Greg Land, to the point of making him an anti-Christ (or at least anti-Kirby) of some sort. Personally, I like his art, for the most part.

Yea, Aaron and Dillon should be a great jumping back on point for people! Marvel also gets to put out another #1 issue with way too many variants.

Last yr it was Howard Chaykin on Punisher War Journal and an issue from the Max book. Not to mention his terrible art on War is Hell.

I know Steve Dillon can't draw every Ennis book and I guess having Jerome Opena on more than 5 issues of the new Pun book is too much to ask. I'm not expecting Marvel to get McNiven or some other superstart to draw the book but damn, if it didn't say Punisher in the title I would drop this thing in a heartbeat.

So what's examples of your fav book having your most hated creator working on it?
Frank,

I just picked up issues 6 and 7 of Punisher. I am still not a fan of Huat, but his art was better on this book than his previous books. I kinda felt a Kevin O'Neil vibe. I still wished they had a better artist, but I still like the book and I pre-ordered the other issues.

I read Punisher 7 last night I felt I had to amend my comments a little. I thought the issue in 6 was a little better. Now I can see why others would have a problem with Haut's work. His Frank Castle leaves a lot to be desired, but for the villains his style does work.

Lately for me it has been the Chris Bachalo art on the Dr Strange components of New Avengers. It just wasn't working for me and I'm no fan of Mr. Bachalo.

I think the only thing that could make me not buy a Dr Strange book would be if Kirkman wrote it and Skottie Young (how I HATE the spelling of his name) was doing art..........neither of them impress me at all.

The villains aren't terrible but yea, Frank looks bad. The skull looks bad. half the scenes are him with shadows for eyes. Ugh.
