My pick is
Image They've got the Walking Dead. They've got Top Cow. I'm always excited to see what they've got in Previews each month. They run actual preview pages in the Previews catalog. They've been cranking out a lot of new #1's lately. The big reason one for me, they don't rely heavily on big crossovers or events. I may get more comic books from the big two (Marvel/DC) each month but I'm more excited by what Image has to offer.

Have to go with Boom! The Traveler and Irredeemable are my two favourite titles outside of Star Wars, and have got me into collecting comics! Beautiful art, great stories. Coincidentally, I loved Ruse too, before I realised the common link - Mark Waid! I will be hunting down his other work. What do you all recommend?

Incorruptible is strongly linked to Irredeemable, although it's direction seems weird sometimes. Still a good read.
Waid is doing the new Daredevil as well. It's not enough for me to check out but it has other people excited.

Classic "must read" Waid is Kingdom Come.
He also did a strong run on Fantastic Four, Flash, & JLA. For current books, check out his mini "Ruse" currently coming out from Marvel, or the Ruse run that came out in the past from Crossgen.
Here is a full list of Waid's work:

I am buying the current Ruse, but I must give the old run a look. Anyone know Marvel's plans for Crossgen beyond the current two mini series?
I shall try Daredevil too. Is there another character with a new series out soon? I remember seeing an ad for Moon Knight, Daredevil and someone else.

The old Ruse, Waid only wrote the first 13 issues or so. After that I felt the series dropped a little, but still pretty good overall.
As far as future Crossgen plans, there was speculation about Route 666 and Mystic:

Sure, I am a Marvel Zombie, just because it's more familiar to me, but when it comes to trying first issues and new titles,
Image is my publisher of choice.
Whether it is the diversity for diversity's sake, or that I haven't read anything that has been outright terrible, I am willing to try titles ranging from '
68 to Blue Estate to Gladstone's School for World Conquerors, I'm always more likely to give some new book a read.

Punisher, that's right. Guess I'll just stick with Moon Knight and Daredevil. I'll be up in London next week so I'll look out for the Essentials books there.
