man I really like this 2 issues in
Where I am with some of the newer Image stuff -
Reborn - Digging it after two issues.
Green Valley - Equally as good. I'm in.
Seven To Eternity - Jerome Opena's art is breathtaking. Not yet hooked on the story. I will give it one or two more to win me over. Man that art is nice though.
Moonshine - Surprised by how much I like this so far. Staying with it.
Romulus - Hasn't hooked me. Maybe one more before I drop it.
Glitterbomb - This is pretty good. Jim Zub has something here, but not sure how long I'll stay with it.
Lake of Fire - I like this book but it is another one that needs to step it up a touch for me or it will go to the discard pile.
Horizon - Read the first one and let it go.
Throwaways - First one was good, second one didn't grab me. Gone.
Demonic - I'm out.
Cannibal - Haven't tried it yet. The book or cannibalism.
Black Monday Murders - Really good book that I may not stick with.
Black Road - Good book that I've already dropped but I'm not opposed to revisiting.
Hadrian's Wall - I like it. Gonna stick with it at least through the first arc to find out whodunit.
Kill or Be Killed - Brubaker is a great writer. I dropped it already.
Surgeon X - Never even tried it.

There are just so darn many good books out there that I have to pick and choose what I spend my money and time on. It's tough and there isn't necessarily a rhyme or reason to my madness. A book just has to hook me or it's out. I can always go back and catch up on a series through trades or comixology so I'm getting quicker at dropping titles.

It actually started out pretty good. A little like an Image or one of the Boom mini series that they sometimes do. Then they added an element toward the end of the book that took it off the rails of what I was expecting and what I think I wanted from the book. The art is about the level you would expect from a smaller publisher. It's not bad but I probably will pass on the next issue. My guess is her brother probably wrote most of this and her name was attached, but that may not be the case at all. Just theorizing. It's worth a read and may hook some people.

Week of December 7th 2016

1. Aquaman #12 (DC) - I like this book.
2. Batman #12 (DC)
3. Cyborg #6 (DC) - This run hasn't been bad and I really want to love this book, but it is approaching the chopping block unfortunately.
4. Green Arrow #12 (DC)
5. Green Lanterns #12 (DC) - This book I'm actually enjoying more than I thought I would.
6. Justice League #10 (DC)
7. Nightwing #10 (DC)
8. Superman #12 (DC)
9. Micronauts #8 (Idw)
10. Transformers More Than Meets The Eye Revolution #1 (Idw)
11. X-Files Origins #4 (Idw)
12. Nailbiter #27 (Image) - One of my favorites. Really good book.
13. Walking Dead #161 (Image) - The Whisperer War. Getting good.
14. All New Wolverine #15 (Marvel)
15. Champions #3 (Marvel) - Fun book!
16. Moon Knight #9 (Marvel)
17. Nova #1 (Marvel)
18. Unworthy Thor #2 (Marvel) - First issue was so good.
19. Ninjak #22 (Valiant) - Always liked Ninjak as a character. Bounced in and out of this series. It's good, just haven't stuck with it. Thought I would check this out as it is a "silent issue" ala the old G.I. Joe #21.
20. Evil Dead 2 A Merry Deadite X-Mas One Shot (Space Goat) - HoHo Horror
21. Puppet Master #19 (Action Lab)
22. The Circle #1 (Action Lab) - Premise sounded good.
23. Wonder Woman '77 Meets The Bionic Woman #1 (Dynamite/DC) - This should be fun!

That's it for this week.
