Okay, I've read this several times, but still can't make much sense of it:

What were the details of the accident? Looks like some copies of Iron Man 23 and Siege 2 will ship, but not all of them. Crazy.

Re: Marvel Shipping Accident
The details of the accident were not given. Presumably some copies were either undamaged or on a different truck. Given that this seems to impact all of Diamond's distribution centers with only Plattsburgh mentioned specifically, the accident may have happened near the printer.adampasz wrote:Okay, I've read this several times, but still can't make much sense of it:

This was mentioned in the daily update to the Diamond website so your retailer should have seen it if he checks that.deadpool wrote:From what i've been hearing from a certain comic staffer at one of the big two it seems there was a fire in a truck.
If your books arrive and they smell like smoke we'll know for sure.
I was dissapointed by lack of knowledge to retailers... my comic store manager found out yesterday... from me!
Well in all fairness i may have just beaten my retailer to the punch of looking it up.
Nice safe report all australian Melbourne stores got there orders of all of these titles, that said being the longest shipping for diamond i believe we are first orders packed so it accident may not have effected our due to that.
