Previews Spotlight #007 (May): Call is on Fri May 9th

The May Previews call will be on Friday May 9th at 5pm Pacific / 6pm Mountain / 7pm Central / 8pm Eastern. Normally this happens the 2nd Friday after Previews hits the shops, but since Iron Man hits the theaters on May 2ns, we’re delaying it by a week this month!

As always, get on Skype around the start time (or join any time after, the call can run 4 hours of rousing comics chat) and look for BobBretall or thejohnmayo and message them to get joined into the call.

Submissions for the Previews Spotlight #007 show should be in by the end of Saturday May 10th. Of course you can start sending in submissions as soon as you have them done. Sending them in early is appreciated as it give John and I a bit more time to plan out the episode.

Call dibs on reviewing any particular comic on this thread.

I just hope I can start the call on time. I am still kicking myself for missing the indy section last time. Got a couple of books I am eyeing for the Previews episode, but I am going to wait and see if other things catch my eye.

We'll start at the beginning of Previews in May (w/Dark Horse). We often flip back&forth between starting @ the beginning & with the Indies.

If we start at the beginning with will be a couple of hours (at least) before we hit the Indies.

We also call the start @ the beginning calls the "See how late we can keep TimR up" calls.....

Ahh you knew I was doing something on TR!

I think there's going to be a Living Corpse issue out so I'll be doing that but otherwise I don't know until I start going through the solits... I don't like doing the same thing twice hehehe

I have not seen a firm ship date for Previews, but I'm going to guess it will ship on Wed April 30th. That will give us:

Fri Apr 9: Previews Skype call
Sat Apr 10: Previews Episode Deadline
Sun Apr 11: John & Bob assemble/record Previews Episode

Some of the other Aussie guys are getting into Skype so there might be some more new guys on the call
