What looks particularly cool to me:

THE ATOM & HAWKMAN #46
Written by Geoff Johns
Art and cover by Ryan Sook
The Atom has been in the center of the BLACKEST NIGHT storm since day one. But now that storm becomes more personal than he could ever have imagined when he is hunted by not only the Black Lanterns Hawkman and Hawkgirl, but Black Lanterns Khufu and Chay-Ara!

STARMAN #81
Written by James Robinson
Art by Fernando Dagnino & Bill Sienkiewicz
Cover by Tony Harris
James Robinson revives his beloved STARMAN series for one more issue as a Black Lantern Starman haunts Opal City. Which Starman has returned and who can stop him from wreaking havoc on the city? Well, the Shade would rather just continue his date with Hope O’Dare, but if no one else can be bothered, what choice does he have but to investigate? Just don’t dare call him a Super Hero.
As the rest of the DC Universe is learning, defeating Black Lanterns isn’t easy – is this the final curtain call for the immortal Shade?

WEIRD WESTERN TALES #71
Written by Dan DiDio
Art by Renato Arlem
Cover by Bill Sienkiewicz
The gun-slinging action continues here in an issue written by DCU Executive Editor Dan DiDio! Western heroes Jonah Hex, Bat Lash, Scalphunter and Firehair rise from the dead as Black Lanterns. But will they save the west – or ruin it?

BATMAN CONFIDENTIAL #40
Written by Sam Kieth
Art and cover Sam Kieth
There’s a new killer prowling Gotham City preying on the homeless. Batman has his suspicions, but is his normally rational mind playing tricks on him? When The Caped Crusader finally meets his suspect face-to-face, he finds that the creature knows much more than he should. Prepare for a stunning 4-part storyline written and illustrated by fan favorite Sam Kieth!

JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #41
Written by James Robinson
Art and covers by Mark Bagley & Rob Hunter
Be here for the start of a new Justice League era! The JLA have been getting a pounding in the last couple of months, but NO MORE! The team regroups with a new roster that will transcend time and space! Make way for the World’s Greatest Heroes – Batman, Green Lantern, the Atom, Green Arrow, Donna Troy, the Guardian, Cyborg, Mon-El, Starfire, Dr. Light and, yes, Congorilla!

THE MIGHTY #12
Written by Peter J. Tomasi & Keith Champagne
Art by Chris Samnee
Cover by Dave Johnson
It’s Gabriel Cole vs. Alpha One at last! It’s a battle between one man and the most powerful being on Earth... but it’ll be a lot more brutal than either expected, and Alpha One’s labyrinthine headquarters holds one more surprise! The epic tale of THE MIGHTY concludes here!

I've really wanted to try the Mighty, the last podcast help push me over the edge to get it. But at this point I'll wait for trade.

And each month I look for All Star Bats but to no such luck.

So everyone else notice that The Mighty is solicited in January as being the final issue with #12?

Thx,

Yep. Not unexpected. That said, I think it will be a pretty decent story that has an end to it. I'd recommend picking up the 2 trades that will likely comprise the entire tale.

Seems like there is a lot of good stuff this month.

Green Lantern 50
Green Lantern Corp 44
Blackest Night Flash 2
Blackest Night JSA 2
Starman 81
Adventure Comics 6
Superman 696
Superman New World of Krypton
Tiny Titans 24
Red Herring 6
Losers Vol 1 TPB
Sweet Tooth 5
Unwritten 9

I probably won't get it but the Web 5 looks good since it's written by Marc Guggenheim. I've really been enjoying his work on Amazing and Resurrection.
