Interesting announcement from IDW and the estate of Donald Westlake.

While this isn’t strictly a comics story I do think it is interesting. The Parker books were out of print for many years, however the University of Chicago Press did release the entire series in deluxe paperback beginning in 2008. Having purchased that entire set I don’t know if I will get these new hardcover printings personally, but would certainly recommend them to crime fans or comic fans that have enjoyed the graphic novel adaptations.

Re: IDW announces new Parker hardcover prose novels
It's not mentioned in the article, but Darwyn Cooke said at NY Comicon that he would be contributing 10 illustrations per book.fudd71 wrote:Interesting announcement from IDW and the estate of Donald Westlake.
