200 Issues of Gold Digger for $3.99

Post by BobBretall »

I missed this when we did the Previews show....
GOLD DIGGER #200 SERIES SPECIAL
(W/A/CA) 50 regular black-and-white issues and 150 regular color issues combine to make this bicen-tastic anniversary landmark! Gina heads off on a dangerous expedition to a lost Mayan temple on Monster Island, and this one time, everyone's available to come help out. For the first time, Gina embarks on an expedition with an army of experts to assist, and she's going to need every one of them to help with what she faces!
Product Code: FEB130688
$3.99
Previews, on page 239 notes that this #200 issue will have a web-site address where you can access all previous 199 issues for free!

You could always just get that address after it's published, but hey, I'll throw this guy a bone & buy #200 & check out the entire series on-line.

With the DCBS discount it's a bit more than a penny per issue.

That sounds like my entry point for this series that I have always been slightly interested in seeing what's going on.
Thanks, Bob.

I went back into my DCBS order and added this. You can't beat 199 free comics for $2.59

Of course it will take you and I about 40 years to read all of those issues, as comic reading time is not on our side

It will take me a long time as well, as I don't like to read comics on the computer sitting at my desk & don't have a big tablet with a nice screen.

Do you have a large screen lcd television with a vga input? Plug a laptop into that bad boy and read right in your living room... I've been meaning to give this a try for a while now.

I'm embarrassed I didn't submit this for the Preview episode -- I own a smattering of GD trades and have always enjoyed it and have been impressed with Perry's dedication to the medium. Def worth checking out and supporting.
