I was really enjoying the art on
Animal Man, so I'm sorry to see Foreman go. I think his style was perfect for the story being told. It also reminded me of Larry Stroman on
X-Factor from back in the day, which was a nice nostalgic twist. If Foreman moved over to X-Factor now it would probably vault
X-Factor into my top three books. I'm not familiar with Pugh, but the story is good enough to keep me on at least long enough to determine if I like the new artist or not.

It's a dangerous move to switch creators around. I'll drop a book like a hot potato if the art is no good. It will take me longer for writing, but a poorly written book will be dropped also. I won't follow creators to a product I don't care about. Jim Lee is the only person I will buy exclusively based on art -- I think this is why I'm continuing to collect Justice League, 'cause the story isn't doing much for me. And I think even that's more habit from when I was a kid.
At most, putting favorite creators on a property will cause me to look at something I otherwise might have ignored. I think this is probably pretty common, since many people are saying "
Before Watchmen is horrible, but I'll probably try out ____ because ____ is working on it." No one is saying they will definitely get anything in
Before Watchmen because of a creator.

If I don't like/not interested in WHO or WHAT you're writing about, it doesn't matter to me how good or bad you are.
Exactly.
