Here's the first image of the new Wonder Woman Tv show according to EW.com

I personally don't think it's too bad but the pants are a bit off putting. I wonder how this will pan out.

Pants are really "blue" aren't they?

I like it, though. My hopes are not high for this series, but at the same time, my hopes are high. I don't believe it will do well, because I think Wondy's a hard sell in this day and age...at the same time, I *want* it to do well.

I'll still be tuning in. Elizabeth Hurley is the villain and somehow Cary Elwes is involved.

It looks good. Kind of a compromise between the classic costume and the new one, I guess. I'm cautiously optimistic about this show.

Other than the blue boots (I'd have preferred red) I like it just fine.

Hollywood always monkeys around w/Superhero costumes, this looks pretty good, recognizably Wonder Woman-y.

And Palicki is easy on the eyes......

I was thinking the same thing the blue boots and the blue pants are just too much blue.

I think red boots look a lot better...

It is a solid costume. I would have preferred the shorts or a darker pant but it should do just fine. I hope the series is solid and enjoyable at least to the level of the Flash TV series.

New pictures from the set and she's wearing red boots:

I think she looks great. Hopefully the show is as good as the costume.

That is a definite improvement. It's interesting that the people working on the costume seem to be listening to the fans. That gives new hope that maybe this series will be the shot in the arm that NBC needs to counter all the recent failures they have had.

I don't think it'll work. Superhero shows where they wear costumes doesn't seem to last very long at all. I think Lois and Clark lasted awhile but that's all I can think of ... Smallville too I guess.

It's HOW MUCH they wear the costume. In Lois & Clark, Clark was only in the costume for a short time in each episode (This also has a lot to do with the cost of special effects, I'm guessing). We don't know how much WW will be in costume.

I also think there may be a difference between a guy in a costume & an attractive female in a costume. Average viewers may have more tolerance for the latter.

I was going to mention the 'how much' thing but couldn't remember if Lois and Clark was mostly Clark or not, even though I did watch the show sometimes.

Good point about the female vs. male though. Xena worked for quite a while, though being in syndication may have helped that a lot too. NBC is different and will expect different numbers.

I really get the impression that anyone tuning into this expecting WW running around for about half the show fighting bad guys and supervillains are going to be majorly disappointed.

My bet is that the costume itself makes an appearance once a show. I have no real problem with that. Very cool that in recent on-set shots she has the red boots and they toned down the shininess of the pants, though.

The revised version is an improvement.

I'm curious if this will be set in the same universe as Smallville. A reference to Wonder Woman was made recently in Smallville.

After looking at some of the screen shots I now can appreciate why Jim Lee designed the character to wear a jacket.
