I miss my family being in one place. Old-timers are the ones that can remember when we used to post on the same forum and remember the old thread and when I used to try and do female head counts I feel the same way. Alas, a family as big as ours has become is pretty much assured of a dysfunction or...

Here's a spontaneous conspiracy theory just for you, Lobo: Superman Returns was designed to be a flop, in anticipation of the suit going this way. Warner's accountants will be able to show that, thanks to its failure, they've actually lost money on Superman, and therefore the Siegel heirs owe them m...

My understanding is the DC now owes 50% of the money made in the USA from Superman to the Siegel's. I would think that would benefit the Siegel's financially. But it'll go through appeals for another ten years of more before they see any of it. Meanwhile the legal fees are piling up, *plus* if/when...

I agree that the only people who will likely end up benefiting from this is the attorneys on both sides.

Just Bill had a very good commentary/rant on the case on the latest Just Bill's Comic Drawerbox. (No longer a vaporcast, in case you missed it)

Your typical comic reader is says, "I'll wait for the trade now that I bought the first issue" but I betcha only a quarter of them actually follow through on that thought and pick up the trade. Course then the problem might be, which trade are they waiting for? The softcover, the digest, ...

The lackluster sales of this book really makes me lose faith in the Typical Comic Reader. This book is the epitome of Pure Comic-y Goodness™. Anyone who formed their comic-reading habits in the 70s or early 80s should be loving Brave & Bold. If there's any justice, the trades should have a nice ...

I missed Hard-Traveling Heroes when it first came out, as it was about two years before I really got the superhero bug. but discovered it through a B&W reprint volume that was a regular paperback book. Along with the other things that were groundbreaking in this series was Ollie & Dinah's re...
