Re: Secret Wars Selections
I am enjoying both the minis and the main series. As I was being surprised with how good Marvel Zombies I was thinking if your going to do a big crossover it has to be super focused with few crossover issues or something like this that takes over the entire line. They have time to really flesh out t...

Re: 2014 fall television season
I have to recommend people watch Person of Interest. It is the best comic book show that isn't a comic book show ever. The show borrows all the great things comic book fans are used to like deep stories, interesting complex bad guys, and still keeping the done in one formula that kept comic books ac...

Re: Your MOUNT RUSHMORE of comic book WRITERS
Mine is pretty easy it would mostly draw from comics from my youth.
Larry Hama - The comic that got me into comics and shaped my expectations for what I want in a comic.
Mark Gruenwald - Captain America is my favorite character because of his run.
Chris Claremont
Kurt Busiek

Re: Marvel declares war on Fox?
I don't know when the main source seems to be Rob Liefield I am not sure I can take the story seriously. I mean there are X-Men in the general Marvel Universe line of toys on stores now. The biggest thing which may have killed a toy line was the lack of a cartoon series for the FF and the X-Men. I a...

Re: six more DC books are set to end in August
I read All Star Western in trade, and I will miss it when it is gone. I think this drops my DC reading list to four now.

Re: What are your standout Marvel Now Titles?
Of the second wave I really think the first issue of Ms. Marvel was great. I was really surprised the creators of The Activity were doing The Punisher. I was not planning on getting the book, but I got the first couple of issues because of the DCBS deal.

Re: More or less likely to see Guardians of the Galaxy now
I have not watched the full trailer because I was already going to see the movie. I have been a fan of the Guardians since the 90s series launched.

Has there any book in the last few years that has gained readers without relaunching or cover gimmicks besides the Walking Dead?

Re: Hawkeye in a rut?
I thought the latest issue was fine. This story arc would have worked better if it had come out twice a month which may have been the plan originally. I am not sure I needed the brother's side of the story, but overall it has been a nice arc.

Re: Villains Month: interruption or not?
I just got my books from DCBS with a couple of the books I ordered involved in this promotion. I only picked them up because I liked the idea of the 3D covers. Man am I impressed with these covers. If I had known these covers would be this good and I was in a better financial situation I would have ...

Re: 1st issue Challenge
Batman/Superman 1 (DC) I really enjoyed the first issue of this title. It reminded me of the Superman/Batman World's Finest cartoon WB did during the 90s. As I saw the credits I had some reservations when I noticed Jae Lee wasn't going to do the whole thing. I am glad the second team of artist blen...

Do you get Previews from them? I thought the delay in the Preview shipments was the primary shift in delivery weeks.

Re: "All-in"?
I am not buying every comic Marvel is putting out, but I am getting the Marvel Now bundle from DCBS. As long as they are doing that I will probably keep reading a good chunk of the Marvel Universe. Once they stop offering that bundle I will start trimming off the books.
